About Us

MadeinSea is based in the Algarve, a stunning stretch of coastline in the southernmost region of Portugal. We produce traditional sea salt and develop nature-based solutions for climate action involving blue carbon sequestration.

Our organic production unit is located close to the historical town of Castro Marim, inside Portugal’s oldest nature reserve, known for its mind-blowing biodiversity and centuries-old salt pans, an important stopover for migratory birds and a diverse coastal ecosystem.
